A recently aquired marriage certificate of my grandparents Lilly GOLGBERG
and Richard AARONS shows that they were " married according to the
tradition of the Jews" at the German Synagogue, St Mary's Spital Square in
Whitechapel in 1910.
Can someone tell me the affiliation of the congregation and whether and
where  any records might still exist which would help me to trace other
family members.
The witness's at the ceremony were Frank Henshaw (my granfather's business
partner) and Frank Baden-Powell. Could my grandfather have been a boy
scout?
