Milligan, County Monaghan

Would someone please tell me a little about the town of Milligan in
County Monaghan. I know it is in the Tydavnet parish (BTW, how is that
pronounced?) My ancestor was born near there, but I can't find it on
any maps, and would like to know a little about it.
