A Happy and Blessed Christmas to you.
This is the first time in five years that I have missed wishing everyone a
Blessed and Merry Christmas on Christmas Day, but you were all in my
thoughts. Again if you haven't heard back from me I haven't forgotten about
you. My inbox has over 800 emails, I am terrible at deleting, so I will get
around to you all. Since chemotherapy begins on the Epiphany - January 6, I
hope to have all the responses I need to by then.
Jim, go raibh maith agat (thank you ) for including me in your list of
people to thank for contributions to the list. I haven't been much help
lately to many people. But somebody just posted about relatives in
Dungarvan and gave a website that listed some historical figures. I decided
to look at the website for her Fraher relatives, turns out one of her
relatives was the first student at St. Enda's , Cullensood House, Rathmines
outside of Dublin, Padraig Pearse's school. When in Ireland many years ago
I found a wonderful book about Pearse's school and it has several photos of
students. The book was edited by Pearse and written by the teachers and
students in 1909. There is a group picture of all the students, but no
names, a group photo of several of the classes but no names, there are some
names with pictures, also there are several ads, so will post some of this
information:
