Ann Barrett born abt. 1835 Co.Cork. parents Thomas Barrett & Ellen O'Daley
Ann came to Australia on the "John & Lucy" arr. Melbourne Dec. 1858 she was
said to be a governess in charge of a group of young women on the voyage.
She married my Grt. grandfather Jeremiah Hegarty in April 1859 and lived the
rest of her life in St.Kilda Victoria.
