The last line says "Someone should ask the Father Fridli Rothenbuhler for forgiveness." The first three lines also have to do with asking for forgiveness, but the grammar is very strange, so I don't quite understand who is asking whom. Hopefully someone else can chime in and clear it up.

Thanks Ryan for the reply.

I think the last line is just another way in German of saying the first
part.....better German. They both are saying the same thing.

Without more context I can't make out the sence of that.

My try:

Someone has to ask the father, Fridli Rothenbühler,
for pardon (forgiveness).

or

Someone shall apologize to the father Fridli Rothenbühler

Not necessary.
To me, it seems the text is from Zwitzerland,
where they speak a different kind of German,
the more in former times.

maybe it reads:

[sagte] sie dem Vatter (Vater) [er]
solle zu Fridli Rothenbühler
um Verzeihung bätte (bitten) und...

that would be translated to

she [told] the father to go
to Fridli Rothenbühler
and apologize.

Bernd

That translation would make better sense.

Thanks again for taking the time to look at it.

But be aware: out of the context and without
reading the original, it's just my guess.
