Vanden Beek

I am trying to help a friend research his family background. His
father left when he was very young so he has no idea of the origin of
his name. There appear to be only three people in Canada with this
name but we have been unable to contact them to see if they are
related.

We think that the name may be of german origin. Are there any more
Vanden Beeks' out there?

I think the name Vanden Beek can also come from the Netherlands where it is
written as van den Beek; may aklso be from Belgium (also Vanden Beek or
Vandenbeek), May be this little help can bring you on a further step forward.
