I am unsure what procedures may be followed in Germany and would appreciate
any help or suggestions. What chance do I have of finding out more
information about my ggrandfather Peter SCHMITT born about 1852, in
Frankfurt son of William SCHMITT a builder and possibly having a brother
called Henry. The family were living in London at the time of Peter's
marriage aged 26.
