Hi there, I am Andrés Gervasi from Perú and i am very interested to
discover the origins of my family name, i have read a post, where i
have discover it's from german origin? it that's true?

Hola Andr�s,

Although there are 31 Gervasi in the German phone directory, I should
think that the name is italian rather than german.

Believe that Nick is correct. Italian phone directory at
http://www.paginebianche.it/index.html has1429 listings of Gervasi, with
1170 of the listings as persons.

Have you tried to find Peru immigration information on your family? Do you
have any idea about when they may have come to Peru?
