I am seeking information on the name Fikinger. To the best of my
knowledge only two brothers came to the USA around the turn of the
century. They settled in the Chicago Ill. area. Both of these
brothers only had daughters therefore to the best of my knowledge the
name is rare in the USA. The information I have is uncertain on the
town these brothers came from. I have two different names for these
towns. If anyone knows anything about the Fikingers I have information
on Anton (my grandfather) and Frank decsendants.

Don't hold us in suspense, what are the two town names, and perhaps
just as importantly, what are the sources for the information? When
did these Fikinger brothers come to the US? What are their names?
What other sources have you consulted?
Remember, you are far more likely to get advice than information. To
get either one, you need to offer the information and sources you have.
