His marriage certificate says he was born in Brunswich, Germany but
his naturalization paper says he was born in Levenstein, East Prussia,
Germany.
I assume these are the same place but where is it?
Levenstein may be a phonetic spelling. I cannot find either place on a
modern map.
Hope someone can help. I would like to find his parish and search for
his ancestors.

My guess goes to former Lwenstein, now Lwowiec:

But it's just a guess ...

So should it be Lwenstein indeed then the church you are looking for
might be the one here:

You don't say when he emigrated. There is a list of emigrants from Braunschweig "Auswanderlisten des ehemaligen Herzogtums Braunschweig 1846-1871 Ohne Stadt Braunschweig und Landkreis Holzminden." (List of emigrants from the former Duchy of Braunschweig 1846-1871 except the City of Braunschweig and Holzminden County).
The index used to be online but I can't find it this morning. The indexed book is in the Family History Library, on microfilm which can be ordered.
If you don't have any luck searching the other places suggested it may be worth a try.

What was your emigrant's name?

His name was Hermann Schipanski.
His parents were Somoli & Elizar Schipanski (nee Traumewar).
He was born on the 2nd November 1876.
He was married in Australia in 1910 and put his birth place as
Brunswich, Germany.
He was naturalized in 1914 and put his birth place as Levenstein, East
Prussia, Germany.
I just assumed these were the same place.
