GEN-DE A difficult word 
  Yesterday I got a confirmation record, nothing else on the film that has proven helpful. The confirmation occurred on 27 May 1833 in Geinsheim, Hessen-Darmstadt. Each entry tells the name of the confirmand, his father's name and mother's maiden name, and the confirmand's birthdate. Two entries, mine included, have an extra word before the mother's name.
