Does any Genealogy program with a built-in book-producing
feature allow me to create a book that descends by LINE
rather than Generation?
I thought PAF would, but I'm not seeing the option in there
this week.

Depends exactly on how you define "Book producing" and "line" but TMG
will created a descendants narrative report with photos, sources,
bibliograpgy, etc. starting with the focus person and then trace the
descendants of the fisrt child all the way down before moving on and
doing the same for the next child, and the next, etc.

As it turns out, RM can be forced to do it, by creating each
chapter individually, then pasting them together. But, it's
not a stated option anywhere I could find? And, I'm not at
all clear on whether the index that prints for each chapter
will re-generate after I paste all the chapters together.
Remind me -- what's the diff between Henry & D'Aboville?

Book producing = any built-in that will take all the
data and produce a numbered genealogical narrative from
whatever meagre data I provided in the genie program. (g)
Line -- start with X, then do ALL the descendants of Child
#1 before doing any descendants of Child #2.
