Hi all,

Just checking to see if there have been any messages on the above three
newsgroups. I have not had one post come through dated 8 July and I am sure
there must have been some.

Di

Replied in email, since there's little chance Di will see any comments here.

Hi Robert and John,

My message got through - that is the first of three I have tried to post in
the last couple of day.

Thanks for your emails, I really do appreciate your replies.

Thanks,
Di

You can always check Google groups to see if any messages are getting
through.

Hi Anne,

Thanks for your suggestion, I had been doing that regularly.
In the end I contact my ISP and advised them.
None of my other messages got through - this one only.

Alphalink is owned by Chariot and they have had newsserver problems AGAIN
over the weekend through to Monday pm according to Dustin Nolan from their
service desk.

++++
The message he sent me 7/7/08 1130am as I had complained of once again not
getting newsgroups is as follows:
"Hi,
There was a temporary problem with the news server over the weekend that
might have caused delays for some articles coming through in some
groups. This problem has since been fixed.

Let me know if I can assist you further and to improve our service please
provide any comments, or suggestions and email us at
ser...@chariot.net.au.
+++

If you are still having problems you may need to unsubscribe from and
resubscribe to
any particular newsgroup or even the news server sometimes to retrigger
things.
Flaming painful.

John,
That's the exact same message I received only from Karen.
They surely are having problems.

If you'd already got the message, what the hell was the point of
wasting time and space on newsgroups yet again? Doesn't it enter your
thick head that people on those groups have exactly zero power as such
to sort out the problems of your ISP. If you can't get them sorted,
change ISP and be done with nonsense.

Don

Di, please disregard Don, he's the resident self-appointed cop and
