Printing readable copies of print

Has anyone any hints on how to print copies of printed articles so that they
are readable, please? Mine always seem to be blurred even though I try to
correct things via Paintshop Pro.

I presume you are printing by scanning the document first?

If so, the problem is probably that you have your scanner set for too
low a resolution. For good printing it needs to be at least 300 dots
per inch. The file sizes in full colour will come out very large, many
megabytes. You should save in PDF or TIFF format as JPEG loses
definition.

I've scanned a lot of documents, and in most cases for PRINT, 600 dpi
can be saved with 25% quality (as measured by GraphicConverter) with
no visible difference from 100%
