Subject: Flack, Baker & Benson
I am searching for information on the following people. Can anyone help. I
really am new to this and this is my 1st real genealogy question in the
newsgroup - so any pointers would be appreciated as well.

JAMES HENRY FLACK (my Dad)
b  - 18 Jan 1920
bp-Harrogate, Knaresborough, Yorkshire.
m - 26 Mar 1949
mp- West Hartlepool, Co. Durham.
d - 25 Jun 1989
dp- North Shields, Tyne & Wear.

***********

His Parents
ALFRED FLACK
b - Abt 1884
bp- Unknown
m - 23 Jan 1917
mp- Harrogate, Knaresborough, Yorkshire.
d - 24 Nov 1950.
dp- West Hartlepool, Co. Durham
Alfred was a gunner in the 1st siege Battery RGA (address of 4 Belford
Place, Harrogate on marriage date)

ANNIE BAKER
b - 4 Aug 1884
bp- Harrogate, Knaresborough, Yorkshire.
m & mp as for Alfred Flack
d - 21 Aug 1968
dp- West Hartlepool, Co Durham.
Annie was living at 35 Tower Street on marriage date.

*********

Parents of Alfred Flack were:-
Father - JAMES FLACK (farm labourer in 1917)
Mother - Unknown

Parents of Annie Baker were:-
Father - JOHN BAKER - (Cab Proprietor at both 1884 &1917)
Mother - EMMA BENSON
Emma Benson was  living at 21 Tower Street, Harrogate at birth of Annie
(1884).

All the above information is from various Birth Death and Marriage
certificates in my possession.

************

Having all the above information - what do I do next (in the kindest
possible terms please) to find out more about the individuals concerned and
also process the family line back further.
I realise in one sense its a huge overarching question - but direction
pointers would be most gratefully received - especially an indication of
what info is free and what info do I have to pay for.

I've just jumped onto a huge learning curve here - so please be gentle with
me
