Agnes Margaret BARR born c 1936 Brisbane to Elsie PALMER (born 1911 Roma) and George Preston BARR.

Elsie BARR died 1939 Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.

Elsie's parents are George PALMER and Isabella BLAIR

Her brother Hans Christian (Roy) HANSEN's parents are Henry HANSEN (died 1910 ROMA) and Isabella BLAIR (died 1912)

Elsie PALMER and Roy HANSEN were raised by their maternal grandparents George and Robina BLAIR and maiden Aunt Agnes BLAIR who all died 1940-41

Agnes is my husband Chris' cousin and we only discovered her existence a little while ago.

Hope that someone can put us in touch with her or her family.

Hi,

I neglected to say that Roy Hansen died in Sydney in 1969.

I am really trying to locate Agnes Margaret Barr or her relatives.

It is only recently that we discovered her existence. We had been told that
Elsie (her mother) had never married and we had always believed that Elsie's
surname was Hansen the same as her brother Roy's (he is my father in law)

Anyway to cut a long story short we found that Elsie Palmer had not only
married George Barr before she was tragically killed in the Valley
(Brisbane) after stepping off a tram but also had a daughter called Agnes
Margaret. Since my husband has very few relatives this was very exciting
news. I presume that Agnes married and that is why I cannot find her at the
moment.

If no one on the List is related to or knows what happened to Agnes Barr
Chris and I will search the old electoral rolls at the State Library for her
father and then her on our next trip to Brisbane.
