I have a photocopy of a page of the Baptism Register which relates to St
Mary's Church (now the Cathedral) in Sydney. Note that the civil parish
follows the Anglican parish name of St James. These Baptisms are pre state
registration which started in 1856. It shows both Birth date and Baptism
Date.
"Roman Catholic Baptisms in the Parish of St James in the county
of Cumberland from the 13th day of October to the 14th day of October 1850"
