Greetings All
I'm searching for information on my great great grandfather and have come
to a bit of a dead end. Any advice on where to search next would be
appreciated.
His name is James John ROBINSON
Born: around 1861 at Salt Water River, Victoria (I have discovered that
Salt Water River has become the Maribyrnong River). There is no record on
the Victorian Pioneers or Federation index CDs at the National Library (the
James Robinson birth recorded in 1861 on the CDs is the wrong one. I have
already thoroughly checked him out).
Married: Annie Francis Barnes in Whitton NSW on 13 August 1889. The
marriage certificate did not have details of birthplace, birthdate or
parents names.
Any suggestions on where I should look next ? Does anyone know if Salt
Water River births were officially recorded under a specific town name ?
