History of burials in Australia

I'm looking for any published material that would provide insights into:

- early burial customs and practices
- early burial place variants, eg churchyards, graveyards and cemeteries, and their place(s) in our history
- cemetery styles (eg grass v. other)
- when did natural cemeteries emerge?
- the part played by religious groups
- (gotta add this) early superstitions

I've hunted around but have come up empty-handed. Hopefully this group might be able to assist.
