I still can't understand why, as these records were only recently
discovered, they weren't released in some electronic format. The
records look like they've been typed in on a typewriter. What a pity
they didn't use a computer.

Carefully searching the 300 or so pages on the 3 fiche that make up
the Tipperary set took me about 2 hours. Electronically, it would've
taken seconds to search ALL counties. *sigh*

One of the names I am researching is JONES. I was going through the births
fiche a while back and noticed one of the entries - Alotta JONES. There
sure were...

Since we are talking about funny names, I will tell you about one
I found while searching at the Mitchell Library in Sydney for my
GLASS ancestors......

There was a poor unfortunate woman with the name of

Rhoda Glasscock!!!

Enough said!!!!!
