No.
There is a great little booklet called "Birth, Death & Marriages
Certificates in Australia" by Faye Young and Don Harris, published by the
Australian Institute of Genealogical Studies. It tells you all you ever
wanted to know about certificates in each state. Costs about $A3.50.
You can e-mail AIGS at:
for further information.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Faye

Hello Vanya,
I must have missed your original question but I have NSW DC's dating from
1870's to
1958, by far the majority DO list childrens names and ages of the deceased.
Sorry to have to disagree with you on this Faye.

If you only want the offspring mentioned in the cert try www.marbract.com.au
she has samples of each type of cert (I think) and you can order a
transcript of just parts of the cert that you want. Excellent service, pay
by Credit Card, which by experience gives the best exchange rate when
ordering from OS.

I took my information from some certificates which I have here, and an
earlier edition than the current one of the AIGS publication, "Births,
Deaths & Marriage Certificates in Australia" by Faye Young and Don Harris.
This was updated in 1996 to show that children's details are included
1856-1944.
Thanks,
