Dear netters.
I would like to invite all of you to attend the Vietnamese Refugee's art
exhibition in Northern California. In this exhibition, there are 40 paintings
which were painted by the Vietnamese Asylum Seekers in Hong Kong will be
displayed. These paintings will reveal the Vietnamese asylum seekers' desire for
freedom, and also reveal life in the Hong Kong detention centres. Most
of all, those paintings will reveal the incredible hardship that one must
endures under the communist regime. Their gruesome quality creates
cramps and tears in viewers.
The exhibition will goes on until the end of 1994. Every two months, we
will display another batch of paintings from the Whitehead Detention Centre. A
total of 400 paintings will be displayed by the end of next year.
Donations are welcome. Your donations will be sent directly to the artists
in the Whitehead Detention Centre in Hong Kong to help his/her families.

It's free admission, and the exhibition area is open from 8:00AM - 6:00PM
from Monday - Saturday.
The art exhibition is organized by Tribe Computer Works, Viet Nam Hai Ngoai
magazine and Viet Nam & The World Foundation.
