Watching Madeleine Albright, U.S. Secretary of State, and Robin Cook, British Foreign Minister on Larry King's show last night, May 20, attempting to explain NATO's bombing of Yugoslavia, I could not help but notice how uncomfortable they both looked as they attempted to explain NATO's strategy in the bombing of Yugo- slavia. They both looked like a pair of thieves who had just been caught stealing a purse off a blind man. Parroting the NATO propa- ganda line in attempts to cover up the huge blunder NATO has made in attacking Yugoslavia with its military might - they did not sound very convincing to me.
Albright looked positively uncomfortable and guilty as she squir- med uneasily in her chair attempting to explain NATO's strategy in this vicious war. Cook came across more like a "blood-thirsty" war monger, demanding that NATO stay the course and bomb Milosevic into surrender even if it kills hundreds more innocent men, women and children, and turns Belgrade into a heap of rubble. This coming from a Foreign Minister who is supposed to be representing the so-called peaceful "socialist" government of England.
This whole gang of left-wingers from the Clinton/Blair duo, to their sycophantic cohorts in NATO, have their hands stained with the inn- ocent blood of hundreds of Serbians in Yugoslavia, and they cannot escape their guilt no matter how much spurious propaganda they spew out daily from NATO headquarters in Brussels. Not only this, but they are directly responsible for the disastrous refugee situation we are witnessing in Albania and Macedonia.
A prominent foreign aid agency in Kukes, Albainia, Medecins Sans Frontiers, accuses NATO of: "using humanitarian efforts to soften its image by expanding their relief efforts to compensate for the air failure," said agency spokeswoman Samantha Bolton. (Sun, May 21, 1999 p.A12)
Belgrade has been essentially excluded from NATO's hit-list since May 7, when its bombers hit the Chinese embassy which created an diplomatic furore. However, NATO has, reluctantly, admitted some 10 major bombing mistakes so far in 59 days of pounding Yugoslavia. Several hundred Serb citizens and ethnic Albanian refugees have been killed, plus, three Chinese journalists. Many hundreds more have been injured says an article in the Sun, May 21, 1999, p.A12.
What the deep thinkers in the US/NATO alliance failed to take into consideration when they started to bomb Yugoslavia on March 24, was that modern communications makes it virtually impossible to hide the truth. Practically every country in the world is now linked by the internet and one can get an excellent picture of both sides of this war coming from several countries listed on the net. If one logs into the news groups of soc.cultural.yugoslavia; soc.cultural. russia; or soc.culture.china, France, Britain, the U.S. or any of several other countries in the new groups, you will get information about the war coming from both sides that you will never see in the Western media or coming out of the propaganda machine of NATO.
The so-called list of "war criminals" that NATO has been presenting to the world for the past month or so, as a diversionary tactic, may be completely changed before this mess is finally straightened out; and Slobodan Milosevic's name may not even be on the list.
Jerry Hall May 21, 1999
P.S. I am not a supporter of Slobodan Milosevic, or of communist ideology, but, I am a profound believer in truth and justice, both of which are being systematically destroyed by the US/NATO gang in this brutal war.

A Serb and an American can not see things the same way. If that was so, there will be no ethnic cleansing and no bombing. You saw Madeleine Albright, U.S. Secretary of State, and Robin Cook, British Foreign Minister on Larry King's show last night and as you say, they looked like pair of theives. How do you know that in the eyes of Americans, the British you do not look like the children of cannibals. You will definitely say, "who cares". Therefore, who cares who looks like a theif in your eyes. The people you refer to, are the most reponsible people, tough, not to fooled around by a thug and they are determined to achieve NATO objective, whether you like it or not, tough luck.
