Can you imagine if it happen in Singapore....just becos of a day
different about the starting of Ramadan (fasting).

Luckily, in Singapore...it is a country that is run by and dominated
by the chinese who are not as quarrelsome....no trouble why find
trouble?

Comparison among these 3 neighbouring countries in SEA.....Indonesia,
malaysia and singapore

Singapore is a country where the malay muslim depend on the chinese
for a living....so, we see the malay muslim is now enjoying the
harvest from the blooming economy.

In Malaysia...no doubt its a malay muslim dominated country....where
all its govt agencies are practically dominated by the malay muslim
BUT...some of its important agencies got chinese deputies (deputy
minister) managing the day to day operation. So we can say that the
malay muslim have some dependency on the malaysia chinese to help out
the day to day running of the country. So, we still thing are moving
eventhough there are still manageable corruption taking place.

In indonesia...its a totally indonesia malay muslim dominating the
whole running of the country...where we see corruption taking places
from top to the bottom. Just a yesterday or so, we see protestors
running the street just becos, of a date difference in the starting of
the Ramadan.
What to do....problem in the muslim world is....there are TOO MANY
SMART ALECS...all claiming they are better than the others.
One muslim group said that their allah told them to start on that
day...but another muslim group said that their allah is more genuine
and told them to start on another date.....
What happen to egypt...what happen to Iraq? what happen to
Syria?....too many smart alecs around....all got their say..after
reading through their story book....allah is their friend aldy.

Millions of Indonesians are uneducated, unemployed or underemployed.
Hence life is a struggle for them. And they look for issues to occupy
their time, the date of Hari Raya fasting being one of them, besides
issues relating to sex. The Hari Raya fasting date is a non-issue. Any
decent almanac can tell you the phases of the moon and dates of new
moon and full moon years in advance. The crux of the matter is whether
the people involved have the intelligence to accept the almanac.

Bro...must remember this hor.....if malay muslim or muslim (all over
the world) depend on their own muslim people.....you see corruption
and unrest among their communities.
Malaysia is quite lucky in a way on their economy cos, there are still
a handful of chinese doing the day to day running of the country.
Well. Singapore is about malay muslim depend on the chinese.....so, no
disruption on its day to day running....in fact, the malay muslim are
enjoying life in Singapore....with good housing /car and family
life....cos, most of them don't gamble away their money.....

Morning Bro....they are just disputing only the timing of a day
difference and they took to the street...these muslim buggers can't
even or refuse to compromise....to avoid disruption to their society
day 2 day running of their normal life. They just want to 'no trouble
but looking for trouble'.
here on earth you find a committee (of members) all of them can
endorse this 'jihad' (killing) thing if someone did it
unintentionaly........ie..that rushdie guy who wrote a book about
them. JUst becos of a book...these illiterate buggers issued jihad to
kill him. Can you find me another religious belief who do that...the
whole bunch of memebers endorsing it.?

In Indonsian they have different time zones and their moon times
are different at different times too.

Over there there are lots of "soothsayers" to whom the people there
llke to believe in them. They like to consult them for their "best
hours" of celebration, or the "best hours" on where their God will
"arrive on time" to "bless" them.

Every soothsayer has their popular clients who have their own
beliefs and so on. Thus over time they have different views of
days for their Ramadan celebration.

The result of who was more correct is dependent on who was more
popular and convincing with believers whom had believed they have
had received more blessings in the past on dates and days
of Ramadan from such and such soothsayer's predictions.

In short, because of such a large variety of soothsayers and
forecasters in indonesia, their celebration day of Ramadan has
become a dynamic day and time depending on everyone in the
different parts of the vast country.

Ha ha ha!
That reminds me. When Salman's book Satanic Verses, came out and there
was a lot of hoo-ha among Muslims. A Muslim guy in my office was very
worked up. He kept muttering "I will kill that bastard." I asked him
if he had read the book. He replied "no". I pointed out why must he
get upset if he had not read the book since he won't know what was in
the book. He shouted at me "My people had read the book and they say
Salman had written rubbish about my religion. Therefore he must be
killed." I ended the conversation right there. This guy had not read
the satanic verses and yet can get worked up because others had told
him it had offended his religion. If he had read the book and came to
that conclusion, I would empathize with him. It is like these people
are getting orgasm after hearing stories of men and women having sex.
Such is the power of mind control, like Freakie here who is convinced
that the earth is 6,000 years old and snakes can talk. LOL

That is the root of the problem with this group of people......simply
got the herd mentality....
As I said previously....when a civilised society want to topple the
ruling govt....they go to their parliament and vote them out...BUT in
the muslim world when they want to topple a govt...they go to the
street (and protest)....disrupting other livelihood. . Look at
countries in the middle east...it speaks volume....the arab spring...
