Leftus Ignoramus is the product of several malodorous confluences.
First, the left has strived mightily to dumb down ordinary Americans.
And it has succeeded: half of all Americans between age 18 and 34 cannot
find Texas on a map of American states.

Second, the establishment leftist media gives a pass to every stupid
gaffe by its cadres. The gathering of "select" media around Obama today
-- a sort of Praetorian Guard of the very Fourth Estate which is supposed
to protect us from Praetorian Guards -- ensures that a man who can do
only one thing well -- read a teleprompter -- is never tested on his
knowledge of the word.

Third, leftists all believe that facts exist only to support ideology,
and may even be invented to support leftism. In one case, the notorious
"fact" that wife-battering jumped during the Super Bowl turned out to be
based upon...nothing at all. Only the persistence of Christina Hoff
Sommers uncovered this bit of whole cloth.

Fourth and perhaps most ominously, leftists like to be led by
ignoramuses, particularly ignoramuses who are blissfully unaware of just
how little they know. Leftists need -- indeed, leftism cannot survive
without -- true believers who know nothing but believe that their
ideology is true and trumps all facts.

What the American Left has done to its enemies is not entirely
dissimilar, even while certainly not approaching the crass, deadly level
of the Nazis.

But whether it's Obama himself, or his campaign, or Media Matters or
MoveOn.org or any number of left-wing groups and websites and
publications and media outlets, the American Left has been merciless in
thoroughly demonizing opponents.

Liberals don't just politely disagree, or agree that people can disagree;
no -- too often they caricature those who disagree as vile reprobates
with no possible good intentions or reasoning for their positions.

It's a very illiberal thing to do. Take the Tea Party, for starters.

Once they saw the Tea Party's effectiveness, especially after the 2010
midterm elections, liberals/"progressives" went on a rampage, smearing
the wide swath of Tea Party members (whom they probably never met) as
recalcitrant racists. It was a charge totally unfair and ludicrous. I
know people in the Tea Party. I watched the group develop. They are
absolutely not racists; they were driven completely by the fiscal madness
of Obama and the Pelosi Democratic Congress in the first six months of
Obama's presidency.

But once liberals starting ramping up their crude caricature, with
congressmen and NPR executives and respected left-wing journals of
opinion like the New York Times leading the way, the liberal mob
responded in kind. Tea Party members were labeled as the worst kind of
"extremists." (Paul Kengor)

When I was old enough to vote I started as a Republican. I remained a
Republican the whole time I was on active duty in the USMC. After
four years I was honorably discharged as a Sgt. E-5. Then I became an
Independent way later on in life. Then when the local call girls
started advertising online I became a Democrat while I was screwing
them. Then I started getting more religious and into my Jewish faith
establishing a good set of values and I turned back into a Republican,
but I found the Republicans never pick the person I want to run for
President and they seem to pick losers so now I'm back to being an
Independent that leans toward the right. I wanted Santorum in the
last race but we had to go with Romney. I really thought Romney was a
better choice than Obama but you saw what happened. One thing I've
noticed about Democrats is they seem to hold a deep hatred for the
American Way of Life as the founding Fathers envisioned it. I
definitely don't stand with the Jews of the left. I found the best
Jews are on the right and are usually observant and not afraid to
stand up for what they believe in and here in the USA the Jews of the
right are usually perfect examples of Americans that have realized the
American Dream in the American Way of Life and are staunch supporters
of the Zionist Dream on Eretz Israel and that is a good thing.

When I was in Okinawa I was a radio repairman in 2/12 out of Hague.
There were two other Marines that were in our Tech shop, both 2841's
like me. One’s name was Copper and the other's name was Peckam.
Copper was known to be a fighting (as in boxer). Well for some reason
Copper and Peckam got into a knock down drag out fight like a couple
of devil dogs that we all were. The Sgt and I got it broke up. There
were no real winners or losers but I'll tell ya with all that radio
equipment in cased in steal I was surprised no body received a serious
gash on the head. We would all later be separated during Operation
Frequent Wind and Eagle Pull to end back on Okinawa at a new base
after those Operations were over.

The only time I saw an assault rifle at a TP rally, it was wielded by a
black dude whose racial identity was covered up by the mainstream news in
an abortive attempt to make it appear as if an ominous white TP whacko was
somehow threatening Obamessiah. They edited their video so the man's skin
color could not be seen - a cheap trick at best.

Whether the dude was a TP activist or not was never established, nor was he
breaking any laws.

If mis-spelling signs and being poorly educated is a crime, a lot of libs
are immediately suspect - Al Gore, for instance, or Barack "57 States"
Obama.

You are either totally ignorant or totally disingenuous...threats, gun
violence and treason are basic planks in the tea party agenda.

Tea Party Protesters Threaten Armed Revolt.

http://irregulartimes.com/index.php/archives/2010/01/03/tea-party-protesters-threaten-armed-revolt/

He wants to take our guns, our Second Amendment, away from us, said
another protester, referring to President Obama.

Thats what makes it necessary for hundreds of people carrying guns to
rally?

Theres a little hang-up with that explanation: The Obama
Administration hasnt done anything to take anyones guns away. Fast
guns are still available for easy sale across America.

Asked by the reporter if he had reached the point where he would use
his gun in violence against the federal government, a protester
replied, Not yet, but theyre pushing us to our limit. Thats why
were out here. He called the show of guns at the Tea Party protest
as, not a veiled threat, but a very open threat.

The protester further explained that he would not discuss when the
point of violent rebellion among Tea Party protesters against the
government would begin: Im not saying when that is, because the
element of surprise is the main thing in any military victory.

Gun-toting Tea Party activists rally in Montana

http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/03/05/us-montana-teaparty-idUSTRE7240EH20110305

Jamee Greer of the Montana Human Rights Network said the image of
armed political activists rallying at the state Capitol may intimidate
those with dissenting views.

"A democracy needs to be a safe space where ideas can be nurtured and
spoken without the fear or threat of violence," Greer said.

Tea Party protesters in New Mexico bring their big guns

http://www.nowpublic.com/world/tea-party-protesters-new-mexico-bring-their-big-guns

The Otero Tea Party Patriots and the newly formed Alamogordo Second
Amendment Task Force held an anti-Obama protest rally on Saturday in
Alamogordo New Mexico.

Several hundred people, many carrying rifles and handguns, attended
the 2-hour event. There were no reported incidents of violence.

Jim Kizer, of Alamogordo, carried his .444 Marlin rifle and .41 Smith
and Wesson Magnum pistol to the event.

"I don't like what the Democrats are doing to our country," said
Kizer. "I'm a Korean vet and I grew up in Alaska during World War II.
I've fought Communists all my life, and now our government is being
taken over by them. That's why I'm here."

Ron Browne of Alamogordo, who attended the event, said the two
groups have a right under the Constitution to freely assemble. But he
said the presence of guns looked like the start of homegrown
terrorism.

"You have the guns. Eventually, you'll have the hate, then someone
will actually take it one step further and try to hurt the president,"
Browne said. "Hate has to start somewhere and grow. This is it, right
here. You're looking at it."

Good stuff - thanks. But tell me, have any of these folks broken any laws
by carrying weapons?

PS: The 2nd Amendment is the solution to violation of the 1st.

Barack Obama swept up an entire nation in 2008 with his hope-and-change
promises of a new honesty and transparency. That dream is now in

destroyed by the most untruthful cast since Richard Nixon, H.R. Haldeman,
Ron Ziegler and John Dean left Washington in disgrace almost 40 years ago

Mr. Bundy is supported by Republicans all over the place! DON'T TELL
ME THAT HE'S AN IGNORAMUS! Like all rightists, he's entitled to his
own facts!

Cliven Bundy Is Now Offering Awful U.S. History Lessons on YouTube

What's the basis of these history lessons? A lot of hilariously
incorrect bullshit. To wit, Bundy explains the following:

How America started with some pilgrims in a sailboat who thought
the world—or "the ocean," in Bundy's parlance—was flat and had edges
you could fall off.
How the 13 colonies waged the American Revolution against "Europe,"
which had the largest army ever.
How the Constitution is divinely inspired and useless without the
Ten Commandments.
