Dear Madam,

The Malaysian education system, has deteriorated tremendously under the
guidance of Najib Tun Razak.

One shouldn't be "disturb" at all to read this type of UTTERLY ILLOGICAL
NONSENSE from the brochures of the so-called "COLLEGES" or "private
institutions".

The "private institutions" are there to MAKE MONEY. They don't care about the
welfare of the students, they don't care about the quality of education they
offer, they don't care about the credentials of the instructors they hire,
they just DON'T CARE.

But can we blame the private institutions alone for the NON-CARING stance?

With stupid requirements that you've outlined to us, we know that the
EDUCATION MINISTRY of Malaysia don't even give a damn about THE PROCESS OF
LEARNING, when come to education. All they care about is to EXERT THEIR POWER
AND STATUS, and TO MAKE EVERYBODY BOW DOWN TO THEIR MIGHTS.

Madam, that is the way the entire Malaysian country has been run.

So we should not be surprised at all to find RIDICULOUS and INCOMPREHENSIBLE
things when it comes to ANYTHING in Malaysia.

To benefit from a PROPERLY STRUCTURED EDUCATION SYSTEM, Singapore is the
NEAREST country one can go to. So, if you can afford to, send your children
there instead of let them suffer the APPALLING MISMATCHS they called
"education" right here, in Malaysia.

Sincerely,
Bob

Actually, Najib's main intention is to be the NEXT Prime Minister of
Malaysia, but to become a PM, Najib has to prove that he _is_ of PM material
--- Therefore, his proposal in tranform Malaysia into a "CENTRAL EDU HUB"
(whatever that means) is designed to makes him *** LOOKS GREAT ***

So, please don't read too much into whatever Najib does.

The guy has no intention in revamping the Edu sys in Malaysia. The guy has no
intention to turn around the appalling Edu status in Malaysia. The guy
doesn't even care about the STUDENTS. All he wants to do is to BECOME THE
PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA, and he is doing EVERYTHING to make himself well
known, to not only Malaysians, but also people of OTHER COUNTRIES.

Badawi was the Foreign Minister, and as his capacity as the Foreign Minister,
Badawi has accumulated a bunch of aquantances from foreign countries. OTOH,
Najib is not well known at all.

Najib's proposal to make Malaysia into a "CENTRAL EDUCATION HUB" (whatever
that means) is designed to make him looks great to the world. The plan is
full of fluffs and fanfare, but if you examine the underlying things, the
SUPPORTING STRUCTURES just isn't available!!!

You don't just erect empty buildings and call them "COLLEGES".

Similarly, you don't just set up "colleges" without having qualified
instructors first.

And in Malaysia, not only the so-called "COLLEGES" are lacked of qualified
instructors, their so-called "courses" are the result of last-minute
half-hazzard salad-style of patches, which, in turn, offers no REAL
CURRICULUM for the students at all !!!

If this is the "CENTRAL EDUCATION HUB" in Najib's term, I wonder what will
Malaysia be like when Najib becomes the PM of Malaysia?!

Look, the whole Malaysian society is built upon the HIGHWAY ROBBERY CONCEPT
--- and as long as HIGHWAY ROBBERIES such as the NEP/NDP are OFFICIALLY
SANCTIONED, the Malaysian government has NO MORAL STANDING what-so-ever to
talk about.

It doesn't even have to involve the ACA at all. The NEP/NDP itself is MORALLY
BANKRUPT, and as long as Malaysia continues this MORAL BANKRUPT way in
running the country, there won't be any use for _ANY_ "moral courses".

Children are NOT dummies. They are smart. They watch and observe what we are
doing, and they act accordingly.

It is pointless to tell the kids to act morally if we don't. It is equally
pointless to force students in taking "morality courses" if the system itself
is MORALLY BANKRUPT.

One simple answer:

To those adults who wants to take the "Continuing education" courses, go to
Singapore.

True, for many, it's just simply NOT POSSIBLE. But the fact is everything in
Malaysia is either NOT LOGICAL or PLANNED TO FAIL. The so-called "CENTRAL
EDUCATION HUB" idea, much like the "Malaysia Boleh" thingys we have had to
endure for the past 2 years, is DOOMED from the start.

As I say, the main intention for the so-called "CENTRAL EDUCATION HUB" plan
is to make Najib a WELL-KNOWN PERSON. It has nothing to do with helping
students or to empowering the people in terms of knowledge or education.

> Does the govt think they have ample time to study these irrelevant
> subjects, when studying the core topics of their degree is a ready a
> time consuming problem.

If ever the Malaysian government CARES about the people, they wouldn't do SO
MANY LOUSY THINGS they have done.

If at this instance you still _think_ that the Malaysian government CARES, I
do have to wonder if your brain was functional for all these years.

> They have to balance between work responsibility and their
> studies, Mr Razak do you think this feat is easy.

If you don't know Najib Tun Razak yet, let me tell you this:

Najib Tun Razak, the EDUCATION MINISTER OF MALAYSIA, is himself a COLLEGE
FLUNKY.

Yes, Najib Tun Razak NEVER FINISHES his university study.

Think of that, please.

A college flunky becoming the EDUCATION MINISTER....

What type of SICK JOKE the Malaysian government wants
to play with the people?!

I mean, I would have laughed my heart out if that "joke" is FUNNY. But it
ain't. MILLIONS of Malaysian youngsters have SUFFERED under the APPALLING
standard of the Malaysian education system. Almost EVERYTHING regarding the
Malaysian education system is DETERIORATING.

Instead of a TOTAL REVAMPING of the Malaysian education system, Najib Tun
Razak tells the people that COMPUTER is the KEY TO EVERYTHING. So, throughout
Malaysia, schools are maddingly putting computers in their classroom.

The _ONE_ thing that the government isn't telling the people is, COMPUTER is
just A TOOL. Yes, it is just like a CAN OPENER, and if you don't have CANS to
open, the can opener is essentially a piece of USELESS tool.

Many computers in the classrooms are being MISUSED or are COLLECTING DUST.

Why?

Because there aren't many teachers who are well versed in computer, and of
those who are familiar with computers, FEW OF THEM understand the proper use
of computer to facilitate the LEARNING PROCESS.

I mean, isn't education about LEARNING?!

But in Malaysia, EDUCATION is just like many other INCOMPREHENSIBLE THINGS
that are happening --- EDUCATION is no longer about the LEARNING PROCESS.
Education has become a means whereby PEOPLE MAKING TONS OF MONIES BUILDING
NEW SCHOOLS AND SUCH.

What are schools without proper teaching stuffs?

What is education without even encouraging the students to learn?

The Malaysian education system has turned into a DIPLOMA MILL, and the more
diplomas it churns out, the less credible the Malaysian education is going to
be.

There are already fields of study from the Malaysian edu systems that are NOT
RECOGNIZED in other countries, and the number of foreign counttries not
recognizing Malaysia's degrees is increasing.

Does that matter to the EDUCATION MINISTER --- Najib Tun Razak?!

Of course not.

For him, education is NOT important, for the guy can't even finishes his
college study. He is just PASSING TIME being the Edu Min, for Najib Tun
Razak's GREATEST WISH is to become the PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA.

> As the education minister it shows lack of understanding and
> coordination in your own dept. when setting up policies.

Sir, it isn't the lack of UNDERSTANDING.

It is simply the lack of CARE.

With a EDUCATION MINISTER THAT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT EDUCATION, what do you
expect the Malaysian education system is going to be?
