isn't much to go around." In these days NCR was converting from
mechanical to digital cash registers and there was at least thirty
thousand employees who lost their jobs because of the change. This
gets us to what the United States of America is doing to USA vetrans.
These veterans entered voluntarily into the military signing
contracts
for service. May be they did not read their contracts right if they
are able to read and write. May be they were deceived by the USA
corporation thinking they would get benefits they did not sign up
for. The fact of the matter most of these soldiers signed up when a
death benefit was ten thousand dollars in addition to the restriction
on medical care and cut in income once they are out of the war
theater. Now they see that more clearly because it happened to them.
With 185000 vetrans from Iraq and Afghanistan in need of long term
medical and financial benefits, it is a drain on the taxpayers who
are
paying for the war while other corporations are getting that money in
goods and services rendered. It is a tragedy. But one man's misery
is other man's treasure. The White House should have thought about
these problems prior to savaging Iraq. It seems to me that it did
not
matter to the White House as the money will circulate around from
benefiting corporations.
