Is it still possible to book flights from Uttapao airport to Koh Samui ?
If so, is it recommended to book well in advance, or can seats be obtained
(relatively) on request. TIA,

and vice versa.

You can't get the direct flight from Uttapao to Koh Samui(Samui island)
You have to go to Bangkok by the road before you go to Samui island by
the plane

Your info is wrong for sure. I have the shedule of Bangkok Airways up to
March 99 in my hand and went myself from Utapao to Ko Samui. CHRIS

Thanks for your responding above...I just still wonder
though if the Bangkok - Roi-et flight by Bangkok Airways
beginning its operation yet?
In fact I just saw some SCT netter is concurently
posting about Roi-et and unfortunately I don't understand
French ...? What he wants to know..?

Dear all interested in the flight connection between U Tapao (near Pattaya)
and Ko Samui:
I have here with me the Timetables of the Thai Airways as well as those
from Bangkok Airways in their last edition valid up to end of march 99. And
correspondingly to this we can state: there is no flight connection from
Thai Airways starting or landing from U Tapao, but there is since
more than 4 years a connection from Bangkok Airways.
PG 841 dep. U Tapao 11:20 arriv. Ko Samui 12:20 daily
PG 840 dep. Ko Samui 9:50 arriv. U Tapao 11:00 daily
