Subject: Iran Threatens an international lawsuit.
Below I have quoted in full a Reuters report published in the New York Times.

Iran, US, Great Britain By REUTERS Published: May 13, 2008

Iranšs judiciary said it would file international lawsuits against the United
States and Britain, accusing them of providing financial support to those
behind a blast in a mosque that killed 14 people. Iranšs intelligence
minister said last week that Iran had arrested five or six members of a
terrorist group with links to Britain and the United States who he said were
involved in the explosion, which also wounded 200. Iranian officials had
previously said the April 12 blast, in the southern city of Shiraz, was
caused by explosives left over from an exhibition commemorating the 1980-88
Iran-Iraq war.
End of Excerpt.

I hope that Iran follows thru with this. Having this issue litigated in an
international court is a win-win, in my opinion.

First, assume Iran proves its case and Britain and/or the USA are found
guilty. Most of the people in both countries will be outraged and push for
severe penalties for the government officials involved.

Second, assume Iran fails to prove its case and Britain and/or the USA are
not found guilty. The news of this defeat will cause at least some people in
Iran to challenge the competence of their government.

A win-win situation.
