A country of two cultures?
Huntington was concerned that as their numbers increased, Mexicans
would become more committed to their own ethnic group and would have
no incentive to participate fully in U.S. society. He noted that
rather than downplaying differences, these communities glorified
divisions — he feared that continued Mexican immigration could divide
the United States into a country of two languages and two cultures.
Here is the issue I concern the most that I hope those authors would
address
in their book: what would be the cost of allowing illegal immigrant at
the expense
of the American workers? There are huge cost involved in a way those
illegal Latin
people flowing into border as well as on the way they become part of
the American culture.
There is no lunch in either way. Those illegal becoming part of
America must replace under and
middle class Americans. These illegal Latin are not job creator but
job taker.
They have had to take away jobs from American by depressing wage
which they have huge
advantage over American workers. There are some jobs American won't
do. But they
are many jobs American do but replaced by cheap Latin workers. Latin
immigrant
won't create job for Americans, not like European immigrant. This
mean they have no
no resource to expand and build American economic. They're taking away
from
low and middle class economic resource. This is how Mexican and Latin
immigrant
can divide this culture and they are less chance to assimilate in
American culture.
Even they become part of American culture, they have to take away from
middle class
American. NO FREE LUNCH!

Hell yes. Mexicans hate the gringos and want to kill us all. And they're
doing it looking at the thousands of americans killed every year by drunk
driving illegals.
