There will be an art exhibit entitled SPIRIT of UKRAINE at
the Hamilton Art Gallery in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada from
April 9 - June 14, 1992. The exhibit consists of 120 art
pieces selected from the Museum of Ukrainian Art in Kyiw.
The art pieces range from 500 year old icons to 20th
century avante-garde works, and were chosen to show highlights
of the history of art in Ukraine.

There are a number of other events in conjuction with the
art exhibit - such as presentations of Ukrainian music (Victor
Mishalow on the bandura(May 17), Luba Goy with the Canadian
Air Farce and the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra May 2-3,
videos, lectures on Ukrainian art, politics, etc.)
