Does anyone have access to either of these (alas no shortwave). Is Boris
Yltsin's (sp?) message getting out in Russia? What about the other republics?
Also, do people in the Soviet Union actually listen? Anyone with first-hand
knowledge? My thoughts and prayers are with the Soviet People.

Well my only info comes from PBS radio.
There seems to be a total media clampdown.
All Yeltin's newspaper radio & TV have been closed down.
Official Soviet TV and radio are playing classical music.
The above is according to PBS.
Those stations which are not closed are being jammed.
