And if not, doesn't his close friendship with the controlling interest
behind a white slavery ring still raise serious ethical questions for the
next king?

I wonder if this poster's anonymity has anything to do with the subject of
the post?
And if not, doesn't making wild accusations under cover of a false e-mail
address still raise serious ethical questions about the poster?
Should we really take seriously anything said by someone who is hiding
his/her identity?
I think not.

Maybe that's why he posted under a pseudonym.

Okay, you've managed to confuse me now, too. You post under the name
"Gary Rumain" and sign your postings "Susan Cohen." Is this an instance
of someone "hiding his/her identity" as well?

Gary is her beau. Don't ask for any more details because he's in the CIA
and you don't want to end up like the Contras, do you ?

No. If I wanted to hide my identity, would I sign each & every post with
my name? We haven't been able to change the post-name so it includes mine
as well as my husband's. However, I was under the impression that this was
a common enough occurence on Usenet.
And, the "anonymity" to which I referred was the fact that, while mine is
genuine, the original poster's was a false e-mail address. You can reach
me at ze...@smart.net any time you feel like tyoing. There was no way to
reach the original poster. I find that very suspicious, if only because
it is a perennial practise of the worst trolls.
You know...I had a really good retort to this one...but I thought better of it.

Always the same (but am I using my real name?)

Probably not, dear!
