I saw in the news that parts of India had a lot of flooding this week. But the seem to have a lot of bad weather fairly often. Your sister in Jersey will have to fix things in her house but if they just got water in the basement it won't be too bad. Maybe better to move to the south, but you never know what weather they will get there depending what south area they are moving to. Too bad about your nephew's flood in Greenwich Village and losing some of his project but good he is safe. It could be a while before lower Manhattan dries out. They got a lot of damage with flooding. JML >looking for rain Hope you get it. Don't need it at this side of the world for now. Mary

Hi Mary--actually I've been there for a while; I am debating whether to return to the States soon or a little later. I plan to be home for our Thanksgiving later this month. And yes, there has been serious flooding in some venues here in Inja, but not as bad as Hurricane Sandy's depravations. My sis and her folks should be ok; my nephew is just grateful to be dry. He commutes from Montclair to NYC and has been successful in reconstructing some of his work, but he just made it back home yesterday to see if there is anything else salvagable, but isn't very hopeful.

Good hearing from you!
