All of the percussion sounds came from a Highland Park whisky tin that I
saved for just such an occasion so it's on topic.
BTW, This one isn't quite so 'hard listening' as some of my other recent
compositions. Larry Niven fans may get the concept from the title.

Not bad at all. Not exactly 'Christmassy', but it could
*easily* be part of the Score for the next Jason Bourne
flick (you'd be in good company, with Moby).
Tell me: why do you encode at only 128kbps, and in MP3?
Aren't you at least worth FLAC or APE, and if you *must*
go with MP3, why not bump it up to at least 192kbps, or
even higher?
Also, I thought I'd read everything by Niven and would
catch the reference, but apparently my brain has been
manipulated by Pierson's Puppeteers and my memory
erased, perhaps you'll help me out?

Dude. Somebody should hire you to score movie soundtracks. I mean that in
a good way.

Interesting stuff and really well done. And here's me thinking I'd wake up
to posts about the weather. The short punching notes definitely gave me an
impression of someone being chased, or perhaps someone frantically looking
for something or someone. I don't know the literary reference though. Sorry
you're dealing with the ignorant :-)
Allan
Looks like I'm the third hand who doesn't get the reference !

'Dream Park', 1981, co-written with Steven Barnes.
I have limited disk space on my ISP site. I would have encoded it in Ogg
Vorbis but I don't know if winders can handle that without painful
downloads and installations.

It's on my bookshelf but it still doesn't ring a bell.
I must admit I'm not that enamoured of the books
he's written with Barnes. With Pournell . . . YES !
