Christmas is a minor religious holiday that was co-opted by the
American retail industry in the late-19th century. As with all other
American holidays, celebration of Christmas requires the purchase of
various consumer products. Consumption of mass-market goods is so
important to the celebration of the holiday that roughly half of
America's economy has become dependent on this single day of year.

Starting in about July we begin to hear projected Christmas sales, and
the day after Thanksgiving millions of sheeple descend upon Wal-Mart
and stampede like cattle. And on January 2, we are reminded that
there are only 355 shopping days till next Christmas.

Take away the mass-market consumer cult and you are left with a minor
holy day of a religion many Americans do not believe in. And it
always was a minor Christian holy day, since unlike his death, the
date of Jesus' birth is unknown. Easter has always been
Christianity's most important holiday, which has also been co-opted by
the retail industry to sell candy and stuffed bunny toys.

The celebration of the birthday of Christ, the origins of
whom are lost in distant time completely deviod of any facts
or proofs.

One might just as well say that christmas is
a joke on humans perpetrated by early humans

Dhaka is ready to observe Marry Christ mass day with due respect and
honor. It is observed with a befitting manner as like as the Christian
countries in Bangladesh. The people from all religion observe this day
altogether and enjoy. In Bangladesh, many non-Christians also observe
this day by wishing friends, decorating Christ Mass Tree and
exchanging greeting cards among themselves. This day is observed in 25
December every year. The Churches are getting ready for this special
occasion.
