Its maha stupidity of Congress leaders to think that India can go on
adding people at this rate- a Britain and France combined every eight
years and still feed them.
There is not enough food in the world to feed India's hungry billion
and so starvation is inevitable. Its best to bribe many to have small
families -1 0r 2 children and jail those who call for extra babies to
change its religious demographics.

excerpt
India may today report the inflation rate in November jumped to the
highest level in 10 months, fueled by food prices.

Indian food prices have accelerated by 19 percent in a year, figures
showed on Thursday, driven by the driest monsoon in nearly four
decades that has hit farm output.

Prices of such staples as potatoes have more than doubled from a year
ago while pulses were up 42 percent, hitting India's hundreds of
millions of poor the hardest.

The wholesale food price index climbed by 19.05 percent for the week
ended November 28 from the same period a year ago, according to
commerce ministry figures.

Food price rises have been fuelled by the worst annual rainfall since
1972 which hurt crop production in the country of nearly 1.2 billion
people.

India's central bank is facing a tricky balancing act in fighting
inflation and keeping the country's economic recovery on track,
economists say.

Earlier in the week, central bank Governor Duvvuri Subbarao called
monetary policy "an ineffective instrument" to tame food prices but
added such action might be needed to curb inflationary expectations.

"If inflationary pressure persists for a long time it can fuel
inflation expectations and monetary policy will have to take a nuanced
view on this," he said.

There cannot be a right to reproduce irresponsibily as it is
demographic war against your fellow humans. Its no different from
foreign invaders running over your lands.
Unfortunately some religious groups forbid birth control and
others like Dr Naik (check youtube) says contraception is forbidden
for Muslims as Allah demands they 'rule over others'.
So compulsory child limits must be enforced as they are
being done in China or we will all starve to death.

Notwithstanding the accuracy of the claim that starvation is
inevitable, supposing that it were inevitable and you were therefore
forced to choose were between everyone having liberty to eat and
everyone having liberty to breed, which would you pick?

The answer is easy. In their view, a growing population with poor
Hindus and poor Muslims dying of starvation is preferable to a
stagnant population whose Hindus get progressively weaker as a
consequence of comprising a progressively smaller fraction of the
total population.

India tops world hunger chart
Kounteya Sinha, TNN 27 February 2009, 02:29am IST

NEW DELHI: India is failing its rural poor with 230 million people being
undernourished the highest for any country in the world. Malnutrition
accounts for nearly 50% of child deaths in India as every third adult
(aged 15-49 years) is reported to be thin (BMI less than 18.5).

India Faces Urgent Hunger Situation
New Reports Compare Country's Hunger Levels across States, World
Oct 13, 2008

New DelhiAccording to the first-ever India State Hunger Index, Madhya
Pradesh has the most severe level of hunger in the country, followed by
Jharkhand and Bihar. Punjab and Kerala scored the best on the Index

Released today by the International Food Policy Research Institute
(IFPRI) in conjunction with Welthungerhilfe (formerly known as German
Agro-Action) and the University of California, Riverside, the India
State Hunger Index analyzes hunger levels in 17 major states across
India. State hunger index scores range from serious to extremely
alarming.

The India State Hunger Index measures hunger on three leading indicators
and combines them into one index. The three indicators are prevalence of
child malnutrition, rates of child mortality, and the proportion of
people who are calorie deficient. This approach is similar to the 2008
Global Hunger Index, which includes India, and is also being released
today for World Food Day (October 16) by IFPRI in conjunction with
Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide.

The India Hunger Index found that not a single state in India falls in
the low hunger or moderate hunger categories. Twelve states fall in
the alarming category, and one stateMadhya Pradeshfalls in the
extremely alarming category. Four statesPunjab, Kerala, Haryana and
Assamfall in the serious category.

The name Matthews is not indicative of VHP.

The Imam Bukhari has 37 children. The Holy book of
a certain religion allows for four wives, innumerable concubines,
and instructs its followers to "go till into your women".
Which means, till they release a baby. And then another.
In another religion the spiritual head tells his flock to
reproduce and multiply, so that more income is generated
for his establishment.

Whenever there is a suggestion of family planning both
Muslim and Christian churches start howling "against

The big mistake would be to subsidise the sale of cheap food. This
would just encourage the population to explode by another 100m in the
need seven years as it is an exponential increase.
Let the food price rise and give the farmers higher prices and let
the poor make a choice to have smaller families by continuing to
supply free contraceptives. And jail those who oppose smaller
families. It is a matter of life and death.

If you have something to say, why not say it right out instead of
mumbling crap that only you understand? What I read into your mutterings
is that, as an Indian, I should subscribe to the rosy propaganda that
Indians are a well-fed, healthy, happy lot? That there is no widespread
poverty in India? Apparently, you feel that an Indian talking about
these issues in a forum where "phoren peepuls" might read about them is
embarrassing and "not a desi thing to do"? Only Muslim-bashing and
Christian-bashing is acceptable from an Indian, right? No doubt your
image of an ideal Indian is pradipshithead parekh, the fellow that
doesn't know his ass from his head, and embarrasses real Indians with
every post he makes.

And you've probably already forgotten or not realized at all that Mo

So if one group of people choose to self-destruct, you need to follow suit?

> Whenever there is a suggestion of family planning both

You're full of sh*t. The Catholic church has a problem with the use of
contraceptives. Obviously, when it suits you, the Catholic church
represents all Christians. And where is your precious RSS and VHP when
it comes to family planning? Telling people who cannot feed themselves
to have more children.

As for Muslims, I will let one of their own speak for them:

-------------------------------------------------------

Another myth is that Muslims do not practice family planning. The Sangh
Parivar publishes pamphlets saying Muslims believe in 'ham panch hamare
pacchis' (We five, our twenty -five). Needless to say that this is
highly mischievous propaganda. There are two parts of this popular myth:
firstly Muslims marry four wives as per their shari'ah and that they
beget highest number of children.

Both these myths need to be exposed. It is true Islamic shari'ah permits
(does not make obligatory) to take four wives. But this does not mean
all Muslim males take four wives. Even if they want sheer male/female
ratio will not permit them to do so. In India according to 2001 census
there are 935 female for every 1000 male. Among Muslims this ratio is
even more adverse i.e. there are about 930 females for every thousand
male. Even all males cannot get one wife according to this census figure
let aloe one Muslim male marrying four wives.

Such propaganda is motivated by sheer animosity or prejudice. Fact is
that highest number of bigamous marriages take place among tribals
(about 14%) and Muslims are at the bottom with 5.6% bigamous marriages
and upper caste Hindus have 5.8% bigamous marriages (according to the
Government of India survey of 1974, the only all India survey ever
conducted). If there is provision for polygamy in law it does not mean
that all will take more than one wife and if there is ban on polygamous
marriages it does not mean no one will take more than one wife. It is
basically a problem of male-dominant culture than that of religion.

It is also not true that all Muslims beget large number of children and
do not practice family planning. Family planning is also more related to
literacy and income levels. All studies in India by demographers show
that poor people of any religion tend to have more children and people
of middle class (whatever the religion) tend to have less number of
children. Among Muslims too, studies in Malegaon, Kanpur and other
places clearly show that educated middle class practice family planning
and poorer, illiterate Muslims do not. Thus it is poverty-related and
not religion-related problem.

If there is relatively less family planning among Muslims it is because
of poverty and lack of awareness than religion. Those Mullahs who come
from poorer strata (and most of the mullahs come from this strata) do
invoke religion for opposing family planning but it does not mean all
Muslims necessarily listen to them. In states like Kerala there is more
family planning among Muslims than Hindus in U.P. as Kerala Muslims are
more educated than Hindus in U.P. Thus sterilisation among Kerala
Muslims is 42.7% whereas among Hindus in U.P it is only 18.2 per cent.
It is obviously poverty and literacy related phenomenon.

One should not go by politically motivated propaganda and examine
reality, which is much more complex and multi-dimensional. It is in the
interest of whole nation to work for uplift of Muslims and raise their
income and educational levels. It will ensure better national
integration and national progress. Mere hostile propaganda motivated by
narrow political ends would prove to be a drag on national development.

Catholics form almost half of India's Christian population
(they claim 10 percent of total). Muslims form almost a
quarter of India's population. In order for VHP's alleged

That is not the case at this time, which is why the VHP is pulling out
all the stops to brainwash the Hindus(and you seem to have bought it
with your allegation that Christians and Muslims are almost 1/3rd of
India's population). Where did I say that "Hindu oriented parties" are

Onece again, VHP or RSS are not terrorist organizations.
They are all dedecated to public service. RSS runs myriad
institutions for betterment of people without prejudice.
Open up wikipedia and you will get at least a brief intro.
So does VHP.

If it was a terrorist organization, the catholic led government
would have been too glad to remove its presence.

Training a cadre of hooligans in the use of firearms and hand-to-hand
combat is an example of "public service....for betterment of people
without prejudice"? Organizing violence and flouting the law and court
injunctions are "public service"? Beating up young women for wearing
jeans and/or going to pubs is "public service"? The RSS and the VHP are
nothing but retrograde protagonists of an oppressive philosophy, which
would suppress and oppress categories of people defined by them. Nothing
that either of them(and they are but two arms of the same corpus) does
is altruistic, but merely means to an end, and that end is a hindutva
version of Saudi Arabia.

Wikipedia articles on the RSS, VHP, etc., are closely monitored and
constantly edited by RSS/VHP "volunteers". Any Wiki article on religion,
politics, race, etc. is extremely suspect in its accuracy and
reliability. So no thanks, I will not judge RSS/VHP by Wikipedia
articles, but by their actions and their propaganda.
