The Pakistani Taliban have said they launched Monday's attack on the
UN World Food Programme offices in the capital Islamabad, killing
five. A suicide bomber dressed as a paramilitary office blew himself
up in the office, walking past metal detectors and guards. The bomber
apparently managed to make it to the lobby by asking to use the
restroom.
Four Pakistanis and an Iraqi working for the World Food Program were
killed in the attack. A Taliban spokesman said the international
agency had been targeted because its work was "not in the interest of
Muslims".
Perhaps the name Islamabad should be changed. It is attracting too
many Islamic terrorists and fanatics.
