If the Vikings had Harleys, how would they have styled them?
The bike looks like these ones:

I'm specially interested in Viking ships and I'm planning to put on
some wood trim made of marine grade mahogany.
Any ideas appreciated, especially any sites with pictures of
bikes in Nordic countries customized like this.

ps. I have a possible claim to Viking ancestry, as I may be
descended from Olaf the Black, last Norse king of the Isle of Man
through Clan Morrison of Scotland.
A couple of examples of the kind or artwork they might have used:

It will take lots of research to find what I want, but I've already
found a few ideas from your links. For example, the chromed metal
strip covering the bottom of the windshield where it meets the fairing
will be engraved with something like this:

The trim on the panniers will be decorated with this:

Some of the wider wooden trim will have a row of circular
medallions with rope-weave designs and stylized animals and
ships, or images like this:

I'm really impressed with this wood engraving -- I plan to make
a rectangular version to put on the side of the trunk:

I think this bike is going to look very classy by the time
I'm finished... if I ever finish... this could go on for quite
a long time.
Much appreciated,
