Of Moloka'i Met With Marine Corp Representatives,
Issuing Their Heartfelt Cries To Stop And Divert The
Proposed Decision To Ramp-Up Training Exercises On
Moloka'i And North Kohala, Big Island. Members From
Kalaupapa Peninsula (Leper Settlement) Were In Tears.
It Was Pointed Out That The Last Time The Military
Was On Moloka'i They Trashed The Place, Garbage, Etc.

AMONG THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS,
THE HAWAII STATE HISTORIC PRESERVATION OFFICE,
AND THE ADVISORY COUNCIL ON HISTORIC PRESERVATION
FOR THE BASING OF MV-22 AND H-1 AIRCRAFT IN SUPPORT
OF III MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE (MEF) ELEMENTS
IN HAWAII"

With U.S. Debt At 15 Trillion, The Proposed Massive
Outlay Of Funds To Create And Construct The 'Molokai
Training Support Facility' On Land Next To The Ho'olehua
Airport, Molokai, Hawai'i. Also The MCB Hawaii Molokai
Forward Arming And Refueling Point (FARP)

MOST GRIEVOUS IDEA:
Stated "Training" Will Happen At Night Time, As
Allowable Through F.A.A. Regulations Which Is As
Low As 1,000-1,500 Feet.

Stated "Training" Will Rattle Native Homestead Areas
On Moloka'i With House Moving Rumbling Blades From
Medium-Sized Helicopters.
