                      The Night of Qadr

We have indeed revealed this Message in the night of Qadr. And do you
realize what the night of Qadr is? The night of Qadr is better than a
thousand months.  Qur an (S97 A1-3)

The night of Qadr is the most virtuous night of the year. Whoever is
deprived of its good is really deprived of something great. It has the
following virtues:
1- Allah has revealed the Qur an in it. Allah said (S97 A1):  We
revealed it on the night of Qadr.
2- It is better than one thousand months. Any act of worship (for
example, praying, reciting the Qur an, making supplication, remembering
Allah) is better than the same act performed for one thousand months.
3- The previous sins of a Muslim who prays during it are forgiven. The
Prophet, salla Allah-u alaihe wa salam, said:  Whoever prays during the
night of Qadr with faith and hoping for its reward will have all of his
previous sins forgiven.  Bukhari and Muslim.

The night of Qadr is one of the last ten nights of Ramadhan. The
Prophet, salla Allah-u alaihe wa salam, said:  Seek the night of Qadr in
the last ten nights of Ramadhan.  Bukhari and Muslim.

As for the supplication to be said during the night of Qadr,
Aisha, radhia Allah-u anha, said:  I asked the Messenger of Allah, salla
Allah-u alaihe wa salam, : O Messenger of Allah! If I know what night is
the night of Qadr, what should I say during it? He said: Say O Allah, You
are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.

We ask Allah to make us from those who witness the night of Qadr this
year and every year and ask Him to help us perform prayers during that
night.
