DKJ,
Happy New Year. Please take good care of our phinong Hmong. They
need all the help LPDR can provide, starting from emotional to
physical assistance. I trust that all of you who are directedly and
indirectedly involved with the returnees will do the best you can to
get them back to their normal life. Thanks, Dony
DKJ and Yong,
Images in words and pixels, each mirror the other. Loved ones apart,
there are no tears. I see no hope in nothing.
Do you believe in karma? The Theravada Buddhism in Laos is based on
three concepts: dharma, the doctrine of the Buddha, a guide to right
action and belief; karma, the payment for actions’ results, the public
acknowledgment of a person’s sum of actions in all past and present
incarnations; and sangha, within which humans can improve the sum of
their actions. Do you seek salvation after this life?
You can hope for nirvana by complying with the basic rules of moral
conduct. The doctrine of karma holds that, through the working of a
just and impersonal cosmic law, actions in this life and in all
previous incarnations determine which position along the hierarchy of
living beings a person will occupy in the next incarnation.
What you have done for the Hmong will adjust your karma. Please
remember our long past together with me. Are your consciences clean?
DKJ said he will never forget this.

Along the line, we end-up with human interest. Here, you may noticed
that each of those 4600 life, there is a human interest story to tell.
I was very move to be informed that we had four additional new Members
in the group which were rapatriated. as of today, the babies and their
mothers are safe and healthy. The deliveries were conducted under
medical surveillance and our Officials also came by themselves to
bring gifts to be given to the mother and child.
I am also please to note that this lady could manage to come and visit
her mother and I do hope that very soon (a matter of weeks), she will
get her mother back with her. I hope that the family will be caring so
that the mother could heal her past trauma...
