July 4th is Independence Day in the United States. A day when the country’s Fathers set fourth
a Declaration of Independence… from British rule.
India also declared its independence from British rule in 1947.
Finland declared its independence from Russian rule in 1917.
In the early part of the last century Mexico declared its independence from Spain.
The list is endless…. country after country declaring themselves free from the grips of another….
On May 14th, 1948, the ‘People’s Council of the Land of Israel’ declared the following…
ACCORDINGLY, WE, MEMBERS OF THE PEOPLE’S COUNCIL, REPRESENTATIVES OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY OF
ERETZ-ISRAEL AND OF THE ZIONIST MOVEMENT, ARE HERE ASSEMBLED ON THE DAY OF THE TERMINATION OF
THE BRITISH MANDATE OVER ERETZ-ISRAEL AND, BY VIRTUE OF OUR NATURAL AND HISTORIC RIGHT AND ON
THE STRENGTH OF THE RESOLUTION OF THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY, HEREBY DECLARE THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF A JEWISH STATE IN ERETZ-ISRAEL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE STATE OF ISRAEL.
Termination of the British Mandate over Eretz- Israel (Land of Israel)??? What ‘Land of
Israel’??? Whatever happened to ‘The Land of Palestine’???
In 1938, Mahatma Gandhi wrote the following… “Palestine belongs to the Arabs in the same sense
that England belongs to the English or France to the French…What is going on in Palestine today
cannot be justified by any moral code of conduct…If they [the Jews] must look to the Palestine
of geography as their national home, it is wrong to enter it under the shadow of the British
gun. A religious act cannot be performed with the aid of the bayonet or the bomb. They can
settle in Palestine only by the goodwill of the Arabs…As it is, they are co-sharers with the
British in despoiling a people who have done no wrong to them. I am not defending the Arab
excesses. I wish they had chosen the way of non-violence in resisting what they rightly regard
as an unacceptable encroachment upon their country. But according to the accepted canons of
right and wrong, nothing can be said against the Arab resistance in the face of overwhelming

So just who was Israel declaring their independence from? The British had no control over
‘their’ country, according to THIS report the country was populated by Palestinians at the
time… not Israelis.
Just as America itself was stolen from its native population, so was Israel. In both cases the
‘justification’ continues by dehuminising the victims, both the First Nation People of North
America and the Palestinians.
Perhaps that explains why the United States government has been the most loyal supporter of
Israel since its inception… perhaps that explains why they allow Israel to continue with its
genocidal polices against the Palestinians, are they not guilty of the same crimes against
their own Native population?
There are many ‘whys’ and very few answers coming forth, but the question remains…

Good question. If it's about purely genetics, we all have a common
ancestor in Africa, more precisely Ethiopia. So whose native to where,
since the original land of the first homo sapiens sapiens was in
Ethiopia. I suppose, nonetheless, that what we could call "native",
means the first people ever to inhabit that land, which means that
before they came, nobody else was there except animals and other forms
of life.

Mr. Gandhi is no authority. The statehood for both Palestinian and
Jewish people were to have been done at the termination date of the
British Mandate over Palestine and overseen by the UN. The Jewish
people did so and the Palestinians along with all the neighboring Arab
countries attacked the very next day which clearly shows that the two
state solution was never in the minds of the attackers to begin with.

If you believe in a Supreme Creator you would know that everything is
owned and controlled by that Supreme and all human beings are

Palestinians, alongside with their Arab brethren refused the plan and
attacked the newly created State of Israel the very next day. And we
all know that thanks to the resilience,tenacity and intelligence of

security. Israel hopes to hear the same from Arab nations: Egypt and
Jordan are the only ones to have signed respectively peace treaties
with the State of Israel, others like some of the Gulf states
(Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait) cooperate economically
speaking with Israel, just as do Morocco and Tunisia to a lesser
extent. Furthermore, Israel has an extensive strategic partnership
with a non-Arab Muslim state which is Turkey, which is the antithesis
to Arab extremism. Israel also used to have brilliant relations with
Iran under the Shah and wishes (I think rightfully so) that the
Iranian Islamist regime gets toppled and defeated as it seeks to arm
itself with nuclear weapons and is a highly unstable and divisive
force in the region as can be seen from its negative influence in Iraq
and Lebanon.
