The FBI uses drones for surveillance on U.S. soil, though �in a very,
very minimal way,� agency Director Robert Mueller told Congress at an
oversight hearing Wednesday.
�Our footprint is very small,� Mr. Mueller told Sen. Charles E. Grassley,
the ranking Republican on the Judiciary Committee, who probed on the
national law enforcement agency�s use of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Mr. Mueller said the FBI�s use is �very seldom,� and the agency is still
�exploring the necessary guidelines� for how drones will be used.
