For nearly 2000 years they didn't converse in Hebrew.
A third person said a couple decades after the destruction of the
Second Temple.
The second guy Gabriel Biernbaum, says 1700 years.
[Which is it? I thought it was more than 2000, that we didn't speak
Hebrew in conversation, since we retruned from Babylonia, 2500 years

That's why we should be discussing the Hebrew word that applies here.
I said that earlier. If it were a Jewish practice, the verb would be
shomer, lishmor, as in shomer Shabbes.
Since it's not a Jewish practice, I dont' know what the word is.

That is the expectation of many of us within the US military. Europe
is aging with two generations of very low birth rates and no hope of
seeing any baby boom in the future. No country in Europe has any

Not only El AL. AFAIK, ALL flights to Israel from the USA undergo the
same extra security. For example, I typically fly to TLV on Continental
from Newark. The boarding area is always at in an easily secured area
at the end of the international concourse wing in terminal C. There is
