I remind the poster, the group, and the moderators that according to
the charter, an artical with absolutely no Jewish content does not
become "on topic" merely because the person written about happens to
be Jewish.

I agree. Just wondering what this is doing on a Jewish group; as
opposed to soc.culture.cool.stuff or soc.culture.delightful.articles.
Perhaps you can explain what the Jewish content here is, beyond the
entirely irrelevant (as far as I can see) fact that this Brooks was
Jewish.
