What did you think of when Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) was asked if

Excellent answer! She was a lawyer trying to defend her client. The
husband then followed up as to why he thought it mattered. He was wrong
in assuming that she didn't understand.

The case was about an Eruv which fell on Shabbat. A woman was suing the
couple for negligence for tripping on the fallen eruv. The lawyer would have
to have some understanding about the Laws of Shabbat and the Laws of Eruv.
The fact that the actress understood would indicate that the character
probably was Jewish but not Orthodox. The actress is AFAIK takkeh Jewish.

Aha. So are you saying The Good Wife is a goot show? There's very
little good on tv these days, so I watch RTV, with shows from the 60's
and 70's, but I would like something new once in a while.

RTV even has Leave it to Beaver. Today he had a crush on his teacher,
who was 25 and very tactful.
