Insiders' opinions?

I have been reading "Europa, Europa", by Solomon Perel.

One amazing thing about the book is the description of the SS school
attended by Perel. It provides a rare insight into the lives of committed
Nazis and what they truly thought.

Does anyone know of any other books that give insights like this into the
opinions and thoughts of the Nazis, into their daily lives?

There is a wonderfully funny scene in the movie at the school where a
professor is describing the Aryan superman type so needed then in Nazi
Germany. He has calipers and other measuring equipment and he moves
among the students, measuring this students head , that students nose
etc. All the time describing how animalistic and savage the Jews are.

He measures Perl's features ( not knowing he was Jewish) sighs and
states what a good specimen of Nazi manhood this student is.

It was this crazy pseudo-science that fuelled and justified so much of
the anti-semitism in Germany during that time.
