"More and more people are concluding that those unbelievable China GDP
statistics are, well, unbelievable."
What do people think? Let's hope NOT! Let's hope China keeps on
growing!
Still, reading all that stuff will get me more whiplash injury than my
bimmer 330 coupe. Who knows what will happen in the future. (Who knows
what's ahead after your next turn?) China's so chaotic and so
orderless. (There ain't no rhyme or reason on slalom.) I guess that's
why the Chinese believe in luck. (Drifting bends the laws of physics.)
And they have good reason to.
Think positive though. I think it's not a bad idea to invest in real
estate or stocks in China, or its international financial center, Hong
Kong - which btw Shanghai will not be able to achieve, only a national
financial center - ain't the HSI at an all time high these days? Thank
you God.
Even if China's not where your heart lies....it's practicality. The
first derivative (ie slope) counts so we benefit from something in
China precisely because it's third world i.e. high potential for
growth.
That's just about all I can say that's good about mainland China these
days. Investment opportunity. Richer than 4th world India and Africa.
Decent (not killer-) looking chicks. A polite and subservient
population through decades of communist Pavlovian conditioning.
Bottom line: China can be worse.

Good, then don't believe. Everybody should now stop issuing
self-defeating threats of economic "reprisals".

To fudge the number requires one knows how to add and subtract the numbers
properly and making sure it is well ironed up properly well.
It is tiring game, so to speak.
