If one were to believe this Dumbo ben Long then North Vietnam was
stupid and unsophisticated because it invaded South Vietnam and
conquer it lock, stock and barrel in 1975 in contrast to Japan and
China which were wise/intelligent/sophisticated because they did not
use War to Achieve their objectives which for Japan , according to
Dumbo, is to re conquer Sakhalin islands and for China is to do what
Dumbo did not say except to claim that it did get back Hongkong and
Macao without having to go to war.
First Dumbo is not cognizant in World History because only a mad man
can claim that Japan was a peace loving country in the period 1895
till 1945 when this Oriental Power started the War with China in 1895
to take from it Taiwan, with Russia in 1905 to take from it the
Sakhalin Island, with China in 1937 to take from it Manchuria and then
the whole eastern part of China including Beijing, Shanghai, Nanking
(remember the rape of Nan King Dumbo ?),the Shandong Peninsula and in
1940 The Japs started to invade Hongkong, Singapore, The Philippines,
Burma and Vietnam including the fucking islands of Truong Sa and Hoang
sa that Vietzan like Dumbo professed to be the most sacred piece of
Vietnam patrimony like a penis is for a man.
If it was not for Uncle Sam and two atomic bombs then the Japs will
still be there and, possibly, in Australia as well.
After the WW2 in which Japan was defeated and had to sign an
unconditional surrender and sign a non belligerent constitution.
Japan is still living under the stigma of being defeated losing
control of Okinawa where last week 2 Japanese Women were raped and the
rapists will be tried under US courts which would give them at the
most a slap on the wrist.just like in the Colonial Time in Vietnam
when Frenchmen enjoyed extra-territoriality in judicial matter.
Japan would not have the power and the support of the World for
recuperating Sakhalin island because it was not theirs in the first

Chinese wisdom. Communist Chinese were brutal but they were not stupid
like Communist Vietnamese to start a liberation war against their own
people in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
During the great leap forward campaign, 20 million Chinese died of
famine. It was an economic mistake but Mao did not kill them. China
sent troops to North Korea only after U.S. troops went across the 38th
parallel and pushed North Korean troops to the Chinese border.
Similarly, the Japanese may be brutal to people of other nations. They
slaughtered 60,000 captured Chinese troops in Nanjin, sacrificed
closed to 100,000 troops to defend the islands of Iwo Jima and
Okinawa, but once Okinawa and Sakhalin Islands were occupied by
foreign nations, they were not stupid like Vietnamese communists to
start a liberation war against the Japanese people in Okinawa and
Sakhalin.
The Chinese were wise to know that they need Western capitalists in
Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan so they only negotiated for the return or
a recognition of Taiwan as part of China rather than war. And they got
Hong Kong and Macau within a single shot fired. And they did not
suffered any damage of their reputation because of boat people and
reeducation camps like Vietnam.
The Japanese knew that negotiations with the U.S. and Russia
eventually will lead to the return of these islands without a single
shot. And the fact is the Japanese and Chinese received higher respect
than the Vietnamese in the whole world.
After the Korean war, the U.S. started the campaign to contain China
in order to stop China's expansion to SE Asia. With the hostile
Soviet in the North and West, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and the
Philipines in the East, and South Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia in
the South, China is fully contained, like a genie in a bottle.
In order for the genie to get out of the bottle, it must break the
weakest point, the cap. And the cap of the bottle was the islands
belong to South Vietnam that were protected by U.S. 7th fleet.
So the Chinese ordered Ho to fight a liberation war and gave aid to
finish the war. Whenever DRV leaders wanted to negotiate for peace,
China told them not to negotiate and continue to fight. Even after
North Vietnamese troops and Vietcong were decimated by the Tet and Khe
Sanh battles in 1968, Chinese leaders told DRV leaders to keep
fighting for few more years. And when DRV leaders agreed to sit down
in Paris for a negotiation, Chinese leaders chastised them. Only after
Kissinger and Nixon told Mao that the U.S. was about to withdraw from
SE Asia, the cap of the bottle that contains the genie was about to
open, that Chinese leaders told communist Vietnamese leaders to
negotiate with Thieu and Duong Van Minh of South Vietnam. The entire

By 1974, right after U.S. Congress passed the law that prohibits the
return of U.S. troops to SE Asia, China invaded Paracel Islands.
South Vietnamese government at that time was in the fear of a major
invasion from DRV. President Thieu was told by the U.S. that U.S.
Congress restricted the aids to South Vietnam in 1974 to less than $1
billion with further cut in 1975. So if Thieu spent all money in
fighting against China in the Paracel Islands, he would have no money
to defend South Vietnam against the Vietcong and NVAs. Thieu had no
choice and gave up the Paracel Islands. In 1975, the U.S. withdrew out
of Thailand.
A few years later, China took over the Spralys and invaded North
Vietnam. It recaptured all border lands that were annexed to Vietnam
by the French from Lang Son to Mong Cay. With new naval bases in South
China sea, and U.S. troops withdrawn out of the Philippines, China
broke the containment created by the U.S. in the 1950s. The Genie was
out of the bottles.
In the 1960s, SE leaders such as Sukarno and Lee Kwan Yew already knew
Chinese strategy to break the U.S. containment by having Communist
Vietnam to fight for China, so they tried to help the U.S.
Unfortunately, Communist Vietnamese were so stupid to understand the
ultimate goals of China. Instead of keeping U.S. presence in SE Asia
as a leverage against China, they humiliated the U.S. and pushed U.S.
out. And they lost thousand square miles of land and sea territory to
China. By 1976, the Chinese contained Vietnam from the East and the
Khmer Rouge acted as a proxy for China contained Vietnam from the
West. Vietnam finally had fear of China's containment and invaded
Cambodia in 1979.
Today, Communist Vietnam realized that they made a stupid mistake by
not using U.S. as a leverage to stop China's invasion. Communist
Vietnam now begins to have military cooperation with the U.S. with
joint exercises, intelligence, and receives U.S. military aids, hoping
that China would not take over the Con Son Islands that the Chinese
claimed part of their territory.
As history unfold, Communist Vietnam began to show the world that
chairman Ho and his comrades were taking order from China blindly, and
Vietnam not even lost territories but was contained by China from the
East.
A proof: If you fly Vietnam Airlines from Hong Kong to Saigon, the
Vietnamese Airline must fly around 12 miles east of the Paracel and
Spratlys islands. China alowed all international airlines (United,
JAL, Korean, Thai, Singapore, Qantas) to fly above these islands but
Vietnam Airlines.

U.S. containment without firing a single shot, gain Nixon
recognition, a veto permanent seat in the UN, while imposing new
containment on Vietnam.
